    Default ESPN Cutting Positions Today...

several names so far. Wish for Stephen A. Smith and Todd McShay to take a hike, but doubt they will be on the list.

Here is a link to who has been axed so far...

The only thing propping ESPN up these days is the SEC network. Beyond that I see no purpose that they serve.

    Agreed Glenn

I could see them not being a network down the road. FS1 is making a strong push

The reason ESPN is in trouble is because people have quit watching and it is not because people have suddenly lost interest in sports. They have lost interest in having other people's bullshit social agenda pushed on them when all they want is to be entertained.

You want ratings to go up? Quit dwelling on Collin Kapernick and show tits every time you were going to mention that idiot. It is pretty simple.

Ed Werder is the only name I recognize. Likely one of the reasons for the cuts. And the fact that ESPN is a horrible shell of its former self.
I don't need my name in the marquee lights....

Oh, and if you were thinking about putting an edgy female reporter on the sidelines, just stick a fork in your eye until the thought passes and go get you some more tits.

ESPN has gone to shit. Embrace Debate. Rile up Twitter. Interview rappers who don't know shit about what they're talking about, but are getting ready to drop a new mix-tape. Accuse every executive of every league and franchise of racism. Players' Union.

Bring back highlights of 'roided up major leaguers hitting dingers and Shaq shattering backboards.

Stuart Scott is rolling over in his grave, and rolling his lazy eye, at the bullshit coming from Bristol nowadays.

Except Holly Rowe. If she goes, I go. SEC network or not.

And from my limited outside of football season exposure to this network they should change their name to ESPNBA or LabronSPN.

Losing Dan Patrick, then replacing Van Pelt with that knuckle head Danny Kanell on the radio was borderline retarded. And the only person who has figured out how to put tits on the radio is Howard Stern. For that he is genius.

Firesticks(irony?) is what is causing all of the revenue loss for ESPN.

Beside bad programming people are dropping cable packages for streaming. All cable shows are in trouble.

We just did that, saving about $100/month and have not missed Direct TV one bit. Whomever can figure out a way to get the networks and corporations to agree to letting there be 'a la carte' channel selection will be a gazillionaire.

Sling is the closest thing I've found to that. I upgrade to the sports package for ESPN U, SEC Network, and a few others for the fall at $5 a month. ESPN only gets $20 a year out of me.
