Ya'll may or may not recall a TV series a while back where they followed NASCAR folks around behind the scenes. I can't remember what it was called. But Jr. basically said he didn't like racing or talking to girls and he'd much prefer to be playing a skins game with the boys in a mudhole in his backyard.

That told me his heart wasn't in racing. It also told me that it is hard to win races with sugar in your tank. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

We had a teacher in middle school who all she talked about was leaving her husband for Dale JR.. She literally talked about him every day, to the point it was creepy. Come to find out she was screwing one of our classmates. She got locked up for it and as soon as her parents bailed her out she went home and shot herself.

the car of tomorrow is what killed nascar- back when nascar was at it's best you couldn't pay people to watch an IROC race- all the cars were the same and evenly matched, so nascar in their infinite wisdom decided to basically make the entire racing series into different versions of the IROC races- all the cars are the same, all the tracks are the same(1.5 mile tracks), all the drivers are the same, no Ford VS Chevy- no cheatin, no fightin, no wrecking each other on purpose, no speeding( that's how they rig races- speeding on pit road) no more what wins on Sunday sells on Monday- no fans.....
