    Default New A5

Anyone shoot one? How has it held up? Any issues?

Been updating my arsenal, just picked up a new SBE. Thinking about another 12 ga (A5 or SX3) and then a A400 in 20ga.

    Get a 20 and 12 pair of A400s.. you won't regret it.

I've got nothing but good things to say about my SX3 but haven't shot the new A5.
That being said if I had a good 12 I'd go right for the 20.

I watched a guy blow one up about 3 weeks ago at a shotgun range. With that being said, I'm still a Browning fan. Do yourself a favor and buy a Maxus instead. Definitely don't buy a inertia driven a5 12 gauge. It will kick you. Right in the face. And might blow up too.

I shoot one and love it. It doesn't miss just point and pull the trigger. Killed everything from ducks deer and hogs. I've shot in a few skeet tournaments with it and no complaints.

Buddy of mine has one. I shot it a few times and it recoils alot harder than my SBE. I shot it well though. Just get a real Auto-5 in a mag12 and 20 and youll be happy man and have something that will go up in value

I've shot them and they felt fine to me. I know a member on here that had one and says he had problems with it one real cold morning. I was not there to witness but have no reason not believe him.

    I own and love a SX3.

It struggles with light skeet/dove loads, I had issues with Remington, Federal and Winchester 1 ounce loads.

Probably jinx myself, but....Mine eats every shell I feed it, no complaints whatsoever. Bought it at PSA day after Thanksgiving 2014.

I did get some trash behind the magazine cut off once and it wasn't allowing shells to release sometimes. Blew it out with some compressed air and functions fine now.

No problems with recoil for me....

My brother has one. He loves it and has no problem shooting any load. I've shot it a time or two, I don't mind it. Feels good.

I have noticed a lot of them with a dent in the vent rib. They all looked like an easy fix but still I have noticed it on several

I have a cousin who won a 3in A5 in max 4 camo from a DU banquet and I bought it from him. It has a 28 in barrel pulls up points and swings great. It is light and kicks like a mule, more than my M1 super 90. I use the A5 for doves or hunting swamps and freshwater, the Super 90 for layout boat hunting and turkeys as it has a shorter 26 inch barrel. I've had no issues with the A5 and think its a great gun, but its going to be hard to beat my M1 super 90. I really like both guns.

I have a new A5 and it is a great gun. Shoulders great, little finicky on the lightest loads. Fit and trim is not as nice as my Beretta A400 but it is lighter. A400 is my go to gun.

You need to check out the SX4 before you buy anything

One on order after hearing all my counterparts rave about it compared to any other browning/Winchester autoloading shotgun meant for hard use. They mentioned it had several improvemts from the SX3. Think they said it may be the fastest shooting commercial gun too. That may or may not be wrong
