    Default 4-8-17

The morning started off slow as Fro and I were running late. Got on these birds after fly down. There were 3 or 4 gobblers and 1 jake in the pines. Eased in on them only to find a mouthy hen between all of them. After a battle with the hen we eased up to get closer 2 hens flew out of the pines over us and landed behind us. One of which was the mouthy hen. She started calling and the birds went crazy. Few minutes later on popped out on the road strutting. After what seemed like forever he looked like he was going back in the pines I told Jeff to shoot and after a second of going back and forth I shot the bird at 57 steps. All I can say is TSS is some bad shit. Anyway that is 2 years in a row I have killed a bird on my birthday. Thanks Fro for great hunt. We have a lot of fun this year.

Congrats buddy. Looks like a pretty place to kill a gobbler. Bird's seem to be right currently
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

    Nice job!
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

    Get after them buddy!
