    Default I need a dishwasher

After the 3 year old Kitchenaide started leaking the 3rd time from a 3rd location, I decided to yank it and destroy it forever. I want the best one on the market, so what is it?

And keep the "make your wife do it" comments to a minimum, we all know that isn't happening.

You see the other thread. Like i said there, I went to buy a bosch, but the wife hated the rack. We ended up with a GE. But the kitchenaids were supposed to be highly rated. Of course with every brand they have levels that vary from complete crap to you've got more money than sense.

The KA we bought ran me $900ish, which I figured on lasting a reasonable amount of times. 3 years and I'm pulling it....

Fisher & Paykel dual drawer. Thank me after your wife thanks you but, not in the same way, just a simple thank you.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I don't get to shop at dentite level private member appliance stores. So I assume it's well below.

Yeah, but at least people don't snicker behind your back when you get introduced as a doctor.

I got one sitting in a garage that worked fine when I took it out my parents house. They had it about a year and decided to get all stainless appliances. Located in Columbia let me know if interested

Bosch stuff impressed me when we built, but the salesman talked the Mrs. into Kitchenaide. Is it like lawn mowers and the Bosch stuff junk at Lowes or is it all the same?

All new appliances suck because of energy efficiency regs. Dishwashers can't use enough water, ovens take for fricken ever to heat up. Fridges make awful noises and last no time. I could go on.

Update: bought a Bosch and have run 3-4 loads through her. Finally after 3 years I have dishes that don't have to be run twice. It dries and the old Kitchenaide would even think of doing it. So far very impressed with the Bosch. It made my heart happy dropping the Kitchenaide in the dumpster today.
