    Default Optics Planet

Found some stuff I've been looking for that these guys have, but I've never dealt with them. Need some opinions- good, bad, ugly? Are their prices just good, or will they take my credit card number and buy a yacht?

They're good, I've bought several items from them without any issues.

Good to go. Look around before you buy as well as you can usually find 10-12% coupon codes around for them.

I've never had an issue. Sometimes they have some great deals, cross check with sites like SWFA, Europtic, SportOptic and CameralandNY.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

No issues. Delivery was a tad slow a couple of times, but otherwise a good experience.

I just bought a scope from them and did have an issue with them. I pre-ordered a Vortex viper gen ii 5-25x50 FFP at a great price in January. They assured me a delivery date of mid March. Mid March came and no scope. Called them and was told July! Called Vortex and they said their distributors have always known the 5-25 power scopes would not be the scopes that were released in March. Optics planet made up for their misleading me by giving me a Nightforce at the same price as the Vortex. So I am kinda torn as to whether I would buy from them again. They did own up to their mistake though which does say alot.

My only issue with them is that I often find their pricing to be a bit higher than Midway or other sites. It's not always enough to make a difference, but I keep it in mind when looking for something.

In their defense, Vortex sucks on getting their products out in a timely fashion.
