Thoughts?? A lot of money obviously. And, I'm not sure about the foot control.

Yeah, it looks similar to the Mercury Tiller Power Steering which is about $2300 I believe (with the tiller).

So, the price is not completely unreasonable.

I've seen and run 250 and 300hp motors with tillers on them.

It matters not what horsepower the motor is.

yep. properly set up, you shouldn't have so much tiller torque that you need any type of gizmo like that.

Yeah, honestly I am not really in the market and understand that the setup is most important. I was just looking for opinions on this.

My current rig has quite a bit of steering torque unless it is WAO.
I think I have some other issues like the COG is way off, etc.

Sheep, I get a good bit of torque too. Until I find that sweet spot where I raise the jack plate and get on that trim just right. Then she starts purring, rides smooth and quits fighting me.

Haven't messed with the setup long enough to figure out what it is that's causing the torque.

Yeah, mine has some nice pull to it as well. Gonna have to find a way to minimize. I'm ready to get it finished.
