    Default stripers in wateree river

Have any fish made it up to the dam yet ? thinking of going this weekend, but its a bitch to get in and out of there in a boat. not worth it if the fish are not running.

Your question has no bearing on this conversation.

fished below the Dam the past couple weekends. There are so many shad in the river that Stripers are not biting. Have not seen a single bass landed. plenty of blue and channel cats are being caught though. Anyone hit the river lower down towards Camden ? is it any better ? what about the Congaree in Cola..Haven't been there a couple years.

Did you go down to the rapids about 300 yds below the landing?
