    Not bringing God into it as justification for the colored hair...that was more of an explanation of my accused "tolerance and embracement." I believe that God may look down at the colored hair and shake his head at the ridiculousness of it all, but I am pretty sure He loves her just the same.

    Nothing to do with how the girl looked. The property owners had been sued in the past because a kid walking through the property broke their ankle or something like that. They didn't want that to happen again, so a trespass notice was issued against the girl. She wasn't even charged, just put on notice so she could be charged if she continued to use the people's property.

    We used to cut through yards getting to and from various places in the neighborhood and going to and from school. Knew most of the people owning the houses/lots, and never had an issue.

    If the "worst" this girl ever does is color her hair and cut through a yard, she'll be okay. Pick your battles.
