    Down the road, it was a slow day at this pond. Last year we caught (3) within a week that ranged from 9 to 11 lb. water still cool for blistering topwater action.

    In a week or so , they will be hitting anything that hits the water. We need to have a tournament at my house, 12.5 is the reigning king. Theirs got to be a 15 lb easy. Nobody fishes for them.
