Anybody shoot Mossberg rifles? How do they compare to a Remington 700? I know shotguns are comparable, I have shot both, but I've never shot the rifle. Just curious.

I bought my daughter a .243 patriot and it seems well put together for the price.
If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!

I have a atr 100 in 308 caliber.
Pros; lightweight, short, accurate enough for a 200 yard shot, reliable, good trigger weight, floated barrel, synthetic with flat black metal so I have 0 reflection from sun, and has hardly no kick at all. I shoot federal powershock or rem cor lok 150 grain.
Cons; seem to be cheaply made but I use the fool out of it especially if I am in a smaller stand where I don't have a lot of room for maneuvering a longer gun.
For the money I would buy another without any hesitation.
