    Right on the concrete pad where everyone fishes and yes with a long dip net. When they start running water the shad will get up against the wall. Just dip them out

    Almost all my luck when chasing them has come from large, white bucktails.

    Cd13 where are you putting in at? Might be able to you with some bait. I have some bait in a barrel on my dock.

    Never mind I'm in wateree creek. But if you are up this way you are welcome to some bait. I caught some big gizzardshad this morning behind the dam and a lot of little shad

    There's a 177 boat bass tourney and also a Crappie tourney Saturday. Things might get stirred up a bit. I saw them schooling last Saturday in Beaver Creek. Two different pods of birds(no loons or commorants ).

    Where's the weight in for the bass tournament. My FIL is fishing in the crappie tournament which is Camden Shine Club tournament and they are weighting in at clear water cove.

    It was also at Clearwater.


    26.36 lbs won it.

    not sure what the final on the crappies were but 3 teams had a little over 12 pounds.
