There was a ton of fish on the bed on Friday and although they've pulled off they haven't went back deep yet. There are a lot of fish in 3-6ft of water right now or at least they were on Saturday. The bigger fish have backed off the bed and you can catch quite a few right now in the ditches leading to the spawning flats as Griffin said. A green pumpkin swim bait caught some big fish on Santee last week and Murray a couple weeks ago. If it's windy throw the crap out of a chatter bait or rattletrap.

But alas we are derailing the mans thread. I don't care how many tournaments anyone has or hasn't won and I agree you could catch fish tomorrow doing what you say. The bulk of Fish are shallower than 10' right now. This cold front might push them into ditches but I'd find a flat and fish the ditches leading into major spawning flats with a squarebill, chatter or spinner, or swim bait. I'd also throw a trap till my arms fell off and if the tournament was tomorrow I'd smoke the fuck out of bad habit
