I think there are a couple of sponsors on here that handle forestry services.

However, I have a very close friend that works with Henderson and Associates out of Newberry. I'll PM you some info.

Good luck. Been trying to get 12 acres of pines thinned for two years and you'd think I'm asking for the formula to cold fusion.

I got a forestry degree I'll only ask 10% of timber value sold plus a case of Busch lite.

Was recently told that most companies don't like to fool with tracts less than 50 acres

I see 1/4 and 1/2 acre lots getting cleared for construction all over town and loggers loading up the trees. So the tract size must not be too big a deterrent.

Just repeating what was told me by one of the loggers cutting behind our house recently. We only had 7 acres cut and my grandparents had maybe 2 acres cut. The only reason they did it for us was because they were already at the other neighbors cutting about 70 acres for him.

in this world of capitalism, anyone would want a bigger sale.

as to glenn, those commercial lots are a waste of time for timber people, too.

Just ask media guy about the sawmill that I am sure will show up at his place to knock out a couple of dozen planks for him....

They aren't making money when they are moving equipment. See if a neighbor also needs some work

As mentioned, Hunter Leary is a good dude. Contact my buddy Scott Paden at (864) 350-7210 if you want a local. He lives in 96 and will do you right.

Get the story straight. I can do both of those things. It's getting your address changed that is akin to splitting an atom.

And I got my tags, bisch, so there.
