Looks like a deer that would be made into a sticker, one that would be placed on a back window..with a hunt club name on it..probably a hunt club named after a creek..

Not trying to speculate here, but if I was lucky enough to kill a deer of that quality I would have taken a ton of pictures with some sort of well known building in the background to proof it was a legitimate SC deer. Such as having a picture from in front of the processor or something. At least then all that could be debated was if it was a free range deer or not.

Right. Or a picture of it where it fell with a DNR officer standing with me checking the expiration date of my hunting license.

I hate it when people start speculating about another hunter's success and whether it's legit, but damn if I can't help but jump on that bandwagon. Even if he were the greatest whitetail hunter of all time, he would also have to be about the luckiest to kill that many stud bucks on unfenced land in South Carolina, including a new state record.

You have to wait 60 days after the season to have it officially scored! The DNR is scoring deer at diffrent locations now , so if you got one that will make it ,then go have it scored. Yall are a bunch of hatters up in here ! Have

I have made this post on here before and somebody else can go search them out.

I was in Christian Brothers Hunting Club in Edgefield with this guy a few years ago. The land I still have leased is beside theirs

He was asked to leave Christian Brothers club for trying to pass off a midwest buck as a kill on club land. If i remember correctly it was killed in Indiana or maybe missouri.

I cant say he is lying this time or any of the other record book bucks he has registered, but I know he lied about this one.

Also, I could see a man having a jam up piece of property and killing a few record book bucks, but to have 9 in the book, from different parts of the state is really really hard to believe.

This may be stupid or maybe I've watched to much tv but couldn't they do a hair sample or something to see if the deer has the dna of a SC deer?

Deer capes are a dime a dozen, if somebody was trying to be deceitful. Could easily had it mounted with a SC deer cape.

He may be as honest as they come and a big deer killing machine, but something dont seem right

Good point, I didn't think of that. If he was a crook he would be way ahead on that one. What about the horns? There's no way to get dna off of that?
