    Default Jetski Build

I have owned a few nice skis and really enjoy them. The SeaDoo RXT is a huge 3 seater with a 4-stroke supercharged motor.
This is the 4 Tec engine which has a great reputation for reliability other than a few known issues such as supercharger clutch washer failures and an occasional dropped valve, always in the # 3 cylinder (both remedied in this build). I picked this up from another member on here and over the last month or two have gone thru it from one end to the other, from a pump rebuild to tearing the engine down, new sensors, etc.
I got real lucky and found a fresh water low hr ski that had an auto accident and was able to rob cleaner non-corroded electrical parts from it too.
It ran good before I got into it but should run like a scalded dog now and purrs like a kitten. New SuperTec valves, all new Viton seals, chain, gears, etc.
Upgraded a few high performance parts and took the dremel to the bowls inside the head and ported and polished them out.
Palmetto Trooper and I built a badass rack for the Yeti. Rod holders and powder coating it later this week.

A big stable reliable 70 mph 4-stroke ski for fishing, sandbar and island hopping.
Going to catch flounder and speckle trout on it too.

    Thanks Dr Duck
I wanted a clean look with the rack, no ratchet straps, bungee cords, turn buckles, etc.
Fastened to the hull and can drop a live well into it also in place of cooler.
Trolling for Stripers very soon. PT hooked me up!

When we were almost done with it last night, Palmetto Trooper looked at me and said, "you know it wouldn't take
much more time to put a top on it". Then I imagined VHF antenna, rocket launchers, down riggers

He can take a simple project and turn it into a real mess. I went over there to have a live well hole plugged. I left with a polling plat form and rod holders.
