    Griffon survivor all-terrain phone cases protect like the first gen otter boxes. Having said that they are rather bulky, but I guess that's why they work.

    With the lifeproof read the instructions and don't just slap the phone in it. You have to squeeze the air out of it so it won't sound like you are in a tunnel/can't hear shit

    Imo those otter box/fireproof cases are too bulky. I use a company called Seidio. I like how slim their case are and it had the little pop out leg where you can stand the phone up to watch a video hands free. Not a huge deal, but it's a nice feature to have. My phone is waterproof so all I needed was something slim that would keep it from breaking when I drop it.

    I got a $10 one off amazon with a screen protector drop my phone daily at work and never a issue
