    Default Thompson Center Omega Z5 muzzle loader

    Does anyone have any experience with these muzzle loaders? I am thinking about buying a used one; but, I know very little about muzzle loaders. Any concerns or comments?

    I have an Omega. It will touch holes at 150 yards. Very accurate and fun to shoot.

    3 pellets of 777 and a 290gn barnes t-ez bluetip is the best load from mine. Buckhorn 209 powder also does extremely well. Great shooting, simple, reliable gun. Not as easy to break down as the 1/4 turn guns. Shoot a fouling shot, then shots 2/3/4 for your group.
