    Default Wheelgun match

Local USPSA club does one match a year that is six shooter friendly, and today is it. I've been looking foreward to this since it was announced. I'm shooting a S&W 657-3 41 mag. For loads I'm running a 210 grain Penn Cast bullet over 5 grains of Trail Boss, which is giving me about 825 fps out of the 6.5" tube. It should be a lot of fun. My speed loader skills are less than spectacular, so hopefully the wheels don't come off too bad...

    Whew glad that's over...
Actually it was fun as hell. HKS speedloaders kicked my ass but I shot pretty well.

I am debating getting this revolver cut for moonclips or just buying a 625. I see myself doing this again. The 8 shot wheel gun just don't do it for me.

Ahhh, the joy of being limited by rules to six shot guns and being able to run Safariland Comp III speedloaders. Revolvers are fun as hell and, to me, inherently more accurate than semiautos.

Phone man has a gun I think he wants to sell that is set up with moonclips. Seems its a 454 that he puts 45s through.

Nice gun, but not really what I'm looking for. The 625 is a purpose built competition revolver.
