Insulation keeps the condensation from forming and dripping all over the place too.
I was thinking the same thing.
I built (had a buddy frame) a 40x50 enclosed building with 12' lean-tos on three sides and big overhand on the front. 3 bays. Concrete floors. Ran the electrical and water myself.
I'll see if I can dig some pictures up.
The money adds up mighty quickly.

Put the wife to work finishing floors (note: caulk your joints and you won't have to worry about cleaning your joints down the road):
The end (I'll have to dig up some more pics of some other projects I've had going):

I used eagle carports out of mt. airy nc. they were great
We put up a 40x60 pole barn last summer. We used http://www.armourmetals.com for the trusses and metal, got the lumber from Watson Wood supply as we wanted treated since it's all open. Easy company to deal with and happy with the finished product. Pro Tip, don't wait until August to start your project, that heat sucked.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Had Trinity build my 30x50x12 with two framed openings for 10x10 roll up doors and a 3x7 walk through door. Trinity fabricated and erected the building for 18K. Ive got another 8k in concrete, $1500 in rool up doors which I hung myself and a little over 2k in electrical. All in all I've got around 30k in the project.
If i had it to do again, I'd have built it twice the size I did had it been in the budget and would probably have doone 12x12 doors instead of 10x10. If you're going to do any metal fabrication in the building, go ahead and get the inner liner panels. I should have had it done when the erector was there. I'll see if I can find some pictures of the project. I can't say enough good about Melanie and Craig at Trinity, they were great to do business with and when I add the lean-to on it will be them who does it.
