    Default AR sight advice

I was given a PSA 5.56/.223 AR. It needs some kind of sight and I know nothing about AR's. Suggestions, please.

Holosun 403b, 403c or 503c, they all work great. For a back up iron sight I like the Daniel Defense fixed rear.

If it's the same rifle I bought earlier thismonth you probably need the rear, flip up sight to complete the fixed sights.
as far as optics and red dots there's a ton to choose from. The Holosun is nice but more than I wanted to spend on this particular rifle. After much searching the Holoson is still at the top of my list at this point.

I know NOTHING about these first-hand.

I did just get a Vortex Sparc AR and like it alright. I've also been running a Vortex Strikefire for a few years that's seen 10k +/- rounds atop a M&P 15-22 and it's held up fine.

I still prefer my Aimpoints (I think), even though I had that issue with a 14 year-old one. I guess one outta three isn't too bad. It only took a simple fix to repair it...

Ive personally never had an issue.
If/when I do. I'll send mine back for a replacement. I'll do the same if that one dies.

    Agree with Walt.
Never been impressed with an aimpoint type sight.

Buy a traditional optic. Like a leupold vx-2 1-4x power or a Nikon or vortex or something. Thank me later. Don't play all these aggravating games with the doodads that light up and the reticles that have all these different dots and shit.

Irons: Troy or Diamondhead for flip ups. Daniel Defense for rail mounted if you like them fixed.

1x red dots .... Aimpoint T2 if you have $$. Aimpoint PRO otherwise. The Trijicon MRO is growing on me as an option.

As for EOTech, mine has gotten dim, and I have the return paperwork.... But I can't seen to part with it. I AM faster in CQB training with the EOTech, but trust Aimpoint more.
