Guys, I know there is another thread out there about this right now. But I'm asking you to please contact your reps again. This is just the start of something that will have a huge impact on our lives as outdoorsmen and the future we leave to our children and grandchildren.

History has shown that once lands are transferred to states they are quickly sold off to the highest bidder. It's not necessarily the states fault, they don't have the means necessary to manage such a massive operation. Hell, they can't even get the potholes fixed in some states..

This federal land is owned by you and I. For all of you who ever dreamed about one day chasing that elk, mule deer, black bear, or moose, this effects you. I have only had a small taste of what these lands can provide and I know that it would be a real travesty for us to give it up. It's something that we will never get back.

So please go contact your reps.

This link will lead you to their contacts:
House: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Senate: https://www.senate.gov/senators/contact/

Please take 5 minutes out of your day to protect what, someday, your children and their children could enjoy.
