    Default Stuttgart AR

IMG_4778.jpgMy first trip out to Arkansas was a blast, I cant wait to do it again! I have never in my life seen so many birds. I have watched many TV shows and there is no comparison. I even saw a field that had Sandhill Cranes in it on the way back home in Mississippi. First Day was hot and almost no wind, Still a fun day for me saw lots of birds just way up there in the sky! The second day was a great day, raining and windy, the teal where everywhere. Supposed to get a speck hunt or two in while we were there but the weather didn't cooperate. Oh well next year. I have only hunted around here and mostly on my own learning what I can where I can. This is something I will always remember.

First day we shot 2 green wing teal
Second Day I shot a pair of Shovelers, probably going to be sending these out to Alabama
    shot a gadwall
    3 green wing teal

my wife was with me and she shot here first duck ever and that was a gw teal, and 2 more teal the next day

The picture showing the sandhill cranes isn't that great I took it using my phone pulled over and side of road!

What were the dates you were there? Did you hunt all fields or timber as well? We had a group hunting timber last week, really good hunt.

I didn't know they had rice fields and ducks in Stuttgart, Alaska?

I would have thought you'd shoot a king eider, harli, and other sea ducks.

    Nice hunt!

Looks like ya'll had a good hunt. We had lots of birds, but they were extremely wary. Trip of a lifetime for sure
