We have been up to Wateree 5 times in the last couple weeks, and I have seen 2.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Yes, but not like in the winter. But I have only seen a very few here and there.

Our summer resident population is minuscule and should be of no concern.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Y'all have ran them all up our way. They have installed air cannons, and those big balloon characters on one of the broad river dams, to keep the bastards away. They fly 100 yards away and come right back, every time the cannon goes off.
