Hard to say if this Louisiana procedure is a fix or not.
In order this to work it can't be ground up in to fine pieces. They need to be at least dime size pieces. They can't digest it and it cuts up their innerds causing a slow painful death.

Deer, coons, and other wildlife can pick around the skeet and eat the corn. Pigs eat anything in their tracks. It only takes a few pieces to be deadly.
