Not trying to derail the mans thread, but why did you like driving across Kansas? I've done it, and I didn't much like it. Nothing but cornfields. I was bored. I started in Vancouver, Washington, and drove back to Charleston. Wont do it again, unless it's with the kids and I can take a month doing it. I did it in 5 days. 48 hours driving time and $648 in fuel which was cheap at the time.

Driving across Kansas is not something you like, just an experience.
