    Default Self leveling polyurethane

Anyone uses or used it before. I'm making some end tables out of some heart pine lap siding, I took off an old old tenant house . I have made the frames and recessed the siding 1/2 inch .

It all rough sawed 5/8 by 6" heart pine. Weathered and wormholed. Being it was exposed to rain, snow, sun, it has a crown to it. It will not lay flat, due to crown.

Tim, I've never worked with the self-leveling poly, but I do think the glass will look better, fwiw.

Awl grip awlwood might be a good choice for what you are doing. It's the same stuff used on boats. Expensive but very good.

You just looking to seal it? Anything you put on it will make it get dark and look wet. I would get some clear lacquer or shellac and test it on a few scraps. Get it in the rattle cans.

Yes sir, I just want to seal. I found a old door with square pockets joining all pieces with wooden pegs holding, putting legs on it for wife. To hell with pinstrest, got me doing all this woodworking.
