Im sure Duck Tape and his cronies have already spent that money on everything else but roads. But he will defend his actions by telling him the Lord told him to.

Hells to the yeah. They got enough Damn new roads that go nowhere and they are getting more. With all the "Bypasses", they will be in Galivants Ferry before they're done.

There is a fee of something like $60 for hybrids and double that for all electrics collected every two years in the bill.
It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.

I liked those trees and hated to see them go but those trees should have been worth a pretty penny. If we paid one cent to have that done we got taken for a freak'n ride. We should have walked away with more money in the bank after cutting down those trees.

The House passed one last year. The Senate never voted.

A major bridge failure will get things moving. Hopefully a log truck with no injuries instead of a school bus.

Check out the bridge reports or take a peak for ourself. Roads are a function of government. I rather them spend money the way they should, but I am realist.

You should have seen all the yankees up here a couple weeks ago. They had 95 down to one lane and apparently they all hit the detour button on their gps and it told them to go 301.

If I had the time, I would create an app and a website that taxpayers could use by plugging in their yearly earnings, yearly expenditures, and zip code. It would show users to the red penny exactly how much and where their hard earned money was spent by the tax collectors on the federal, state, and local level.

My hope would be that it would cause an armed insurrection.

It people all paid quarterly taxes instead of employer deductions would create the same revolt. It's a great scheme.

There was a forty foot section of road washed out in the hurricane near my house. State came in after six weeks & filled the hole with dirt & rock. Three weeks later they sent 8 men, two dump trucks & a backhoe & patched it. I went down & watched em do it. One of the men told me they'd be back to pave it soon. The patch now has two big ass pot holes in it. No idea when they'll show but I assume they'll come back with even more equipment & more men. So that's three trips to repair a forty foot section of road.

Until this kind of dumbassery is fixed, no amount of money in the world will take care of it.
