    Default Large Golf Balls For Construction

    Anyone here that in construction ever heard of these? They look like big golf balls. It's an interesting design idea.

    Best I non-professional description I could fine:

    The truck is carrying prefabricated rebar cages for concrete slabs. The balls are inserted in the cage not to help it stay rigid, but to reduce the volume of cement required to complete the structure, and to lighten the resulting slab, allowing for longer unsupported spans.
