Should have gone with a shade lighter color, but oh well. Might try my hand again, but for now, I'm probably done. It'll be interesting to see how they pair with the pistol.

They're red
I tried to dye some Troy Battlemags that were tan that I bought during panic. Had no guns to match so I figured I would give it a try. They turned out like real close to what yours look like. Ended up spray painting them pink to match daughter's gun.
Magpul is making "sand" color for dying. Saw it here first: http://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/ritdye_Sand_Pmags/
I used "scarlet". I should have used "cherry red". Oh well. I don't think it's worth the money to try again. I may bleach them if they look like ass in the gun and redye. But we'll see...
Yours don't look bad. I was going for pink and ended up way too dark. To answer other question....The dye is a more permanent solution. Spray paint chips/wears off.

Damnit. It's bugging me now. May try bleach and that lighter color.
Seems to have slightly deepened a tad bit more.

I like it. Not necessarily the color, per se, but a fellow sufferer of tinkeritis that has the balls to experiment. It's got my wheels turning. USMC, did it seem like the mag material soaked up the dye,as in when the liquid hit it it spread out, or do you think you could put straight lines/ designs in it?

Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.
Some hot chick on Youtube was using rubber bands to do some stuff.
I had the water in an 8x8 Pyrex on the stove. Near boiling. Took about 5 mins per magazine. I used a whole bottle of dye. (Learning curve about the heat.)
I'm gonna heat some bleach water in a pot and let 'em soak.
