    interesting you show that pic.

I had a patient that is a coot fan (but a wonderful lady, nonetheless) and she said her family was ready to root for alabama until they saw the class clemson and its players showed during the anthem. I didnt see it but she said the alabama team wasnt putting their hands over their hearts and were moving around getting ready for the ballgame.

I'm not gonna cry about it, but that's good stuff.

Tell your bro to tell Len R. hello for me. We were roomies in med school.

Cool, who is your brother? I assume he's an assistant coach of some sort?

Sorry if that's a stupid question - outside of Dabo and crazy eyes Venables, I'm not familiar with the rest of the staff.

    .
I mentioned this to my wife at the time....all of the Clemson players and coaches that we saw had their hands over their hearts...and most of the Alabama guys were just looking around and talking. Very disrespectful IMO.

If he has kept Dabo from flying apart at the seams, he must be brilliant. That is meant to be a compliment. We can all agree that someone has done an excellent job with Dabo over the last few years. I said that he would never be head coach at Alabama. Boy was I wrong...

I think dabo saw himself on TV in some earlier interviews and changed his ways.

I enjoyed the article. I had noticed a big difference in Dabo's demeanor this season. Last year he was loud and proud and a bit goofy, wearing his heart on his sleeve. This year he has been much more quiet, businesslike and under the radar. There was a whole different feel to him. Figure he learned something last year, and I now know he is much, much smarter than what he projects.

I like that he is a positive motivator. So many coaches are negative motivators

I'd also thought that Deshaun must be working with a sports psychologist, especially after his sluggish first few games and his apology to the public for them. Whatever happened with him was a huge positive. His poise and ability to be unrattled by mistakes and turnovers is amazing.

So, thank you for your brother's work with the team!!!!! So much of performance and execution is in their heads--I think a good sports psychologist must be worth his weight in gold.

Thanks for indulging my ramblings. My husband and son don't like Clemson and they tolerate tailgating at USC games for the party.
