Default In Memory of Robert E. Lee

    Today is his birthday

"Governor, if I had foreseen the use these people desired to make of their victory, there would have been no surrender at Appomattox, no, sir, not by me. Had I seen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox with my brave men, my sword in this right hand."
--- General Robert E. Lee, CSA - as told to Texas ex-governor F. W. Stockdale

Everyone needs to make the trip to lexington, VA to see Lee and Jackson's graves. Lee's is buried in a cript below Lee chapel at Washington and Lee university and Jackson is buried across town in an old cemetery. Very humbling experience. If you walk over to VMI you can view Jackson's last war horse little sorrel. He is mounted in the museum.

the usurper destroyed constitutional law and made the federal govt the master of all- he un-did everything the founding fathers fought for.

Where would we be if the Righteous had attained victory? Only God knows.
