Just another membrane jacket. Under technical details it Doesn't say Goretex so likely a foreign knockoff...

A $4 camo umbrella can go a long way in taking the edge off of a frog strangler.

Indeed, but it is hard to beat 3/4" painted plywood.

As long as you are walking 5 feet to your blind, those Barbours may work. If I am getting after them, a Barbour would look like confetti.

Kulu is a $369 jacket with a Japanese membrane made by Toray. No more waterproof than any number of $150 membrane jackets that also are not waterproof. Great marketing scheme though!

Damn yall are making this too complicated with all those fancy/trendy new jackets. Buy a Filson jacket that will last you and your children's lifetime and be done with it.

I can't fish in June wearing a wax coat.

A number of outdoor companies make good rain gear. You will pay dearly for anything worth a shit. Wax cotton is great for colder temps.

Damn......this thread just keeps going and going. It has been established that there are only 2 types of legitimate waterproof coats. One is goretex, the other is wax coated. One requires no maintenance, is fairly breathable, and gives you good range of motion. The only negative issue is never wash it. Washing destroys the waterproofing integrity. The other requires regular messy applications of gunk, it doesn't breath at all, and shrinks and gets stiff. Take your pick.

Ha, that longer one is the old style thick ones. It's nothing like one of those Beauforts or bedales, now the wader is thin. But it's just soooo dashing.

I owned one of these http://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Berghaus_...FSOJ2wodkFQL4g
green and black and large size. Worn it 2 times, works fine but it's a touch too small for me, should have got XXL! Anyhow, its yours for £100 if you fancy...
