Whoa, nice! The jail must have gotten a laser machine since last year.

I was pleased as well. Granted I cherry picked mine. 5 mins of sitting in the truck without "the young boy around back" showing up around back to help will get you that. But still I think I only put two boxes back that I didnt like. The clempson office had 3-4 full pallets and another 2 half way full when I picked mine up about 4 oclock on the last day you were supposed to. You could probably still get some..

Much better quality this year. When I picked mine up I was told they were outsourced this year instead of using the convicts. I guess the cons have better things to do with their time than be constructive.

Yeap I was told the same. They accepted bids on it this year. Tremendous improvement over last year.

I called in past the deadline and I think they made 1200 and over 3000 were requested?

A buddy that didn’t apply this year still got some for some reason.

There were 4 of us who didn't apply this year that got an email saying we were allowed 3 each. None of us could make it and that sucks seeing that they were high quality. The ones last year were garbage and we've got a stack of boxes leftover from last year that are going to need repairs done to them before they can even be used.

Put up the new boxes and cleaned up the old ones today.

Had a hen already sitting on 9 eggs in one of them.

Box quality was definitely improved. People were supposed to receive approval emails this year if they were unsuccessful in the past. I think they may have botched the backlog list somewhat... I spent most of the day on the lake up here and repaired, filled up 20+ boxes

Any reasoning on why you are denied?

I need to step my game up and start putting up some boxes. We talk about it every year but never do it. What's the benefit of getting them from DNR versus building your own. I know they have the blueprints on their website.

The main benefit is cost. The box and the guards are free.
