Those that know, school me please. This decoy was given to my 11 year old by my grandfather for Christmas. It holds tremendous sentimental value, would just like to know a little more about it's origins. We know that it was hunted over as early as 1936 by my great grandfather. He worked at Castle Hill during this time, the owner gave it to him, and it's been passed down now a total of 5 generations. Needless to say, my boy was blown away and I'm ecstatic that he really appreciates the history of our sport at such a young age.
I thought, possibly that the curl on the bill might help narrow down the original manufacturer, but haven't found anything definitive yet.
