I borrowed a friend's holster and pistol the other day before I ordered my PC Shield. For what it is, it works well and carries decent. I wanted something I could easily pop on/off in/out of the truck.

I decided on this: https://www.cyasupply.com/products/s...er-black-right . I got mine in FDE.

Those double-clip rigs may actually carry better, and I have a very nice one for my G19, but it is a BITCH to put on/take off.

EDIT -- I got mine on eBay or Amazon for a few bucks less than the link above.

I liked my Fobus polymer for OWB. Carried that thing all over SNF and couldnt shake it loose.

I second what USMCsilver said. Have that holster and got it off amazon cheaper. Very convenient grab and go IWB holster. Probably something more comfortable out there but comfort has never been a problem for me

I'm also 5'10 and 220+ and have that holster for my shield- works great and easy to draw, but I have to un buckle my belt to re holster.

While holster shopping, pick up a factory Glock trigger spring (any one, minus a G36 spring), and take out the Shield spring and replace it with the Glock spring. I think it improves the pull just a touch. I've got an Apex trigger coming to replace that God-awful hinged spring. All that and some Talon grips, and it should make for a superb carry piece.

I'll echo swampy on the OWB, Palmett Leatherworks and their local. I've been impressed with their work, about to have them make a holster for my STI Perfect 10.

IWB, I have a suede Galco. Can't say I love it or hate it, it does its job. Sweaty in summer mode.

I got this in the mail yesterday, and got to try it out today. I carried it in my pocket of a pair of Columbia nylon fishing shorts and it carried like a charm.

If you are considering pocket carry, then I'd highly suggest this simplistic/minimalist style "holster".

I'm using this holster for OWB with my Shield 9mm

    I got it from here

The shield also carries very nicely in the back pocket of a pair of jeans without a holster when needed.

P.S. Don't underestimate the need for a proper belt when carrying OWB. I finally upgraded to a heavier, thicker belt this Christmas and only wished I had done it sooner.

This is the one I bought. My ONLY complaint is that the lanyard section protrudes slightly past the muzzle. Not really an issue so far; I'll have to see how it carries in a some other pants/shorts.

Now...after looking around a bit more, I did find some others that seem they may be a tad better, but I'll explore that option if this one seems to print/carry oddly in other clothing.

I carried it again today, and I must say, I have no regrets with my choice. It's solid and causes no complications.

I added my Talon Grips tonight. Used a heat gun as directed. Reapplied heat and pressure four times and the grip was drastically improved. Waiting for my Apex trigger now. I believe this Shield is the answer to about every question I've ever asked.
