    Default Deep Sea Freaks

Some neat critters pictured in the link. I find it interesting that we still know so little about the things below.

I thought Sigourney Weaver killed all of those things.

I've seen a couple. It was one fish that I was drawn to as a kid.. I mean you see Sunfish, then you think of what learned people call bream. Then you see that in a book, Ocean Sunfish, Mola Mola, whatever.. I swear I hung off the side of a sportfisher once staring at a huge one that size.

It wasn't long ago...there was a thread with a video of some atrocious yankees spouting foul words about one being a sea monster of sorts.

sunfish are harmless- we have jumped overboard and swam with them, one about half that size hung out with us and let us rub it like a pet dog

What I don't get about ocean sunfish is, how come the sharks don't just wear 'em out?
