Default Turkey Habitat by Game Zone

These are (screenshot) outputs from the GAP Analysis system. It purports to show turkey habitat on the map and identify the amount of each type. I'm not at all sure that it counts 100% of what is in these areas as it has a screen in it to ignore habitat too close to development that I think should be changed these days. It also may be a little generous with including all of those clear cuts and "herbaceous" areas, but .......

The GAP page will produce this same stuff at the county level, watershed, or even areas customized on the map. It is good stuff to the extent it is valid as habitat. Guess it's just as valuable to just look at the total habitat in a given area and not have to consider what is being excluded.

How do I overlay roads and identifiable landmarks so I can zero in on specific areas? Or is that not possible with this system?

    Overall, it's interesting info. Thanks!

You can check "Roads" and other things on the "View Layers" tab under "Foreground". I would suggest clearing the Elevation check under Background there and unchecking the Range box when you get to a species map (below it). Both make it harder to see either Land Cover or Prediction. It is interesting. I have some issues with it, but it is one heck of a good effort.
