    Default Ironman

A little encouragement to get out the door and move.

2 weeks ago I finished my second ironman triathlon. 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run.

When I started 3 years ago, I weighed 187 lbs.

Today I sit around 145 depending on my lunch.

Start moving and don't run over cyclists on the road.

Had a buddy who did 24 hour races. He was 5'6" 180 pounds and ran a 5 miles in under 30 minutes. He would bike 25 miles to work and then lead the morning 10 mile PT run with a 40# vest at a stupid fast race. He always said he wanted to get his legs blown off so he could have springy legs and his body would need way less oxygen so he would be faster. Ultimately he got busted crossing into Texas from Mexico with a ruck full of steroids and a full auto government issue M4. They made he an E6 and sent him overseas.
Never seen a human that defied nature more than he did.

Nice work. I always wanted to Train and do an ironman but I'm 235 now and doubt I could ever dedicate myself to it.

Congratulations that's a heck of an accomplishment. I did a marathon once and said never again. I can only imagine the misery it would take to do one after a swim and bike ride of those lengths.
How tall are you? 145 at 5' 2" would be solid. At 6' 2" would be Ethiopion status.

    LOL.
The unforgivable crime is soft hitting. Do not hit at all if it can be avoided; but never hit softly.

NUTS to that. When she dies, she's gonna be dead just like me.

Yuk. I would'nt hit a dog in the ass with a brussel sprout
