    Default Ambush point

Made an aggressive move today and set up in a little pinch point where we saw several bucks using yesterday. Used the decoy and tried to call them out of the cedars. Knew we would not see the number of deer but were hoping to see the good bucks again. No dice. Sitting on a ridge top and having lunch now, figuring a game plan for the evening. Wind is good for today, but not so much for tomorrow.

Today's sunrise. Pics do this no justice.

Hell of a day. Had a 140" 10pt at 100yds tearing up some saplings when a 4pt spooked off of the decoy....CRAP!! Buddy drew back on a solid 8 that I had seen earlier, put the ole "Meh" on him and he stopped behind a tree with only his neck showing. Hell of a day two!! Gotta love everyone who keeps telling me if I had a rifle I'd be done.....
