That's correct on the Craig dropping the 12 yr statement. Don't care for it personally. The guy that said he was in TX and couldn't find stuff. TX gets the biggest allotment of Weller 12 in the country. Get me as much as you can find and I'll get you all the Blanton's or Eagle Rare you need.

How mad would you be if I told you I just secured 3 1.75 bottles?

I wouldn't be mad at all. I've got pretty good access to bourbon. I was trying to give the guy in TX an option since he wanted Blanton's. Weller 12 is more readily available there and would be good trading currency.

Different states allocations are wild, NC gets a bunch more Eagle Rare than we do, 175mls.

TBD, yep the Elijah will be a blend of 8 and 12.

For sure. I wish we could get W12 like OWA or SR here.

If everybody started believing that, it damn sure would. Please preach it a little louder and more often.

My boss brought a bottle of that Angels Envy up to the office one day and I didn't really care for it. Blantons is still my favorite.

Words to live by. Blanton's has replaced Knob Creek as my bourbon of choice.

That little liquor store that I go to has a lot of the good stuff. Came home today with a bottle of Eagle Rare and a bottle of 12 year Elijah Craig.

I've been trying to get my hands on some Black Maple Hill for about 5 years. I had to settle for the small batch but I will
take it. I had the 15 year in Asheville years ago and it's probably the best I've had. Its not sold in SC so it is hard to find. I had a buddy get me a bottle in TN a few weeks ago. If you ever see any buy it.

Nice, I know that's one that I get bugged about all the time. It was sold here at one time. I saw it in someone's system.. but I couldn't get my hands on it at the time, it was gone. That had to of been at least three or four years ago.
