"Rat" Found In Firehouse In Georgia
This "rat" thing was found in a fire station in Georgia (USA) under the food bin. They called out some pest control people and none of them knew what it was. All of them said they'd never seen anything like it in their life. Hopefully more pictures forthcoming.

That's a good guess and may be right. Some people have chinchillas as pets or so I've read. But the tail seems to long to be a chinchilla. If I find out what it is I'll update this.Originally Posted by Swamp Rat

Someone said it may be a Gambian Pouched Rat. It seems they have had problems with them in Florida because people bring them in as pets. Grassy Key in Florida has been trying to eradicate them there.
It's the same rat they train to find land mines in some countries.
