Default "Rat" Found In Firehouse In Georgia

This "rat" thing was found in a fire station in Georgia (USA) under the food bin. They called out some pest control people and none of them knew what it was. All of them said they'd never seen anything like it in their life. Hopefully more pictures forthcoming.

Someone said it may be a Gambian Pouched Rat. It seems they have had problems with them in Florida because people bring them in as pets. Grassy Key in Florida has been trying to eradicate them there.

It's the same rat they train to find land mines in some countries.

It's a forced perspective photo, so you cannot assess its size.

The tuft of hair on the tip of the tail is gerbil-like, but gerbils are brown, not gray.

I don't know what it is, to tell the truth.

I've seen "black panther" trail camera pictures that were clearer.

It would be fun to grab it by the tail and sling it into a wall.

Good lord, a regular mouse trap wouldn't do crap to that thing. He would walk off with the bar wrapped around his mouth or something
