6.2 if the money is there. Camshaft alone is over 480-530 to the tires. But if not a 5.3,5.7,6.0
I want CI's. No late model crap. Mine will have iron heads that flow too. No aluminum on this'n.
I'm happy to give up a few HP to get the stock look when you open the hood. Looking at 550hp with what I'm wanting to do.

Cast iron 6 litre is around heavier but minimal. 6.2 litre is all alum. Denali, escalade, vette, 3000 for a used motor. 6.0 can be bored 30 and you have a 6.2 iron motor.
Years back in a fbody I had. Ls1 ran 620 on 2 kits and 6.18 with 6.0 cast motor AFR heads and so on. Went to a 6.2 factory l92 with shaft and went 5.80s. all those variables were same car, motor, convertor, powerglide and gear
There is no replacement for displacement, no doubt.
I need to find a wrecked up Denali or something and pull the harness and all.
It adds up to a pretty big undertaking with the older car swaps.
I'm gonna do it, for sure.
They are the standard in Pontiac engines. I want to do it one time and know it's right. That didn't happen with that engine I posted earlier in this thread.

Get them ECM from the donor car. Then you can have it programmed and tuned.

Any updates?
Better paint that thing Clemson Orange, you paint it garnet and black it'll quit on you or catch fire by a dumpster. What's the top speed you're shooting for, 56 or 63?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
