    Default Huntstand App

I am having trouble with the Huntstand app now that I got a new phone (the iphone 7 sucks by the way). It won't let me download updated weather because it says it's offline and I need to "enable online mode." I can't figure out how to enable online mode. Any help would be appreciated. A search on the web and on their site revealed nada. Thanks, CC

Go to your settings and click on huntstand app. Make sure it is on to use cell service.

Thanks. That's how I have it set and it still isn't working. Will keep trying.

    reset the phone maybe?

Not a complete reset obviously, just where you hold the side and main button until the Apple logo comes up. I've had that clear all sorts of issues for me

Thanks fellas. I just deleted the app and reloaded. That worked. Now I have to re-enter all my info, but life goes on.

Is it much better than the scoutlook app? All I use it for is wind direction and marking stand locations.

I was about to write "everything," but that would be ridiculous. I save stand sites, camera sites, etc. on the satellite map and then use the weather/wind cone (with time progressions) to evaluate stand site before getting there. It also has a very useful measuring device for acreage calculations.

Sounds about the same as the scoutlook app then. They do come in handy.

I have both apps and use Huntstand 10-1. I like both but huntstand is more simple and user friendly in my opinion.

If scoutlook is to complicated for you then you should take up coin collecting.

That's strange. Mine has only made me sign in once. Being serious now

Yeah I don't sign in everytime.

It was a good app before but they've been adding all kinds of stuff. The parcel option is pretty interesting. You can look at each property around you and see the borders and owner information.

I am a fan of hunt stand so far. Considering paying for the advanced options. Anybody use those and feel it's worthwhile?
Oh yeah Chessbay is a :fag:
