I've seen it work first hand for a friend that used it for several training schedules leading up to races from 15k's to 100 mile races.
It takes some dedication but it works well compared to long slow distance training.

Oh I know. It's a great program. I just don't do endurance.
Unless you consider the occasional 800m run "endurance"
