    Seeing anything this morning? Heard one shot right at daybreak. It's been very quiet. I wasn't thrilled about the moon phase, but you gotta go when you can. Trying to get the oldest daughters first deer this morning.

    30 shots heard it seems. Been averaging 3+ deer seen each hunt since oct 1st.

    Had one snort and run off walking in this morning. Sounded like another one cleaning out a scrap behind me up on top of a ridge just before daylight. I will check that out on my way out of the woods.

    Saw 11 total. Mix of mamma's and babies. Heard one shot.
    I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.

    Seen few does. Surprised not more as I am in a sweet spot with white oaks all around. 6-7 shots.

    Well, she missed a small buck. It was a difficult shot but I let her take it. He bounded off tail up like what the hell was that. Oh well, will be back at it this afternoon.
