Made it to Country Club of South Carolina. Took every bit of saw and 4WD I had. Things worse here. Dam burst and is washing out the neighbors house. Hole is about 100 ft from us. Main gas line is broke and whole neighboyhood reeks. God Bless the SCEG guys here working on it.

Yeah it's a mess up here. I hope 2th gets power back tomorrow. Looks like it might be a while for us. Sounds like flooding has 527 blocked so they can't even get out of kingstree.

Riverland Terrace seems okay. Most without power and some downed trees.

We are fortunate. Water in the garage, about 9 inches deep. But there are several in the neighborhood with trees laid across their roofs. We will be up first thing in the morning cutting trees out of the road, hopefully the water will be down enough to let people in and out.

Hope everyone is well. Matthew sure was a tough SOB!

We lost a lot of shingles off the house. But what's more concerning to me is that I went outside and saw a 10 ft section of shingles lift up and lay back down many times. Obviously all these need to be replaced. I just want to make sure they don't try to fix only the ones ripped off. Anyone got any experience with this? Feel free to pm me.

If you're referring to the insurance company I wouldn't worry. Just show them where the section that kept lifting up is and you shouldn't have a problem. Let me know if you need any help

Good luck to everyone starting their cleanup today... be safe with your tools and aware of downed lines and falling debris.
