Default 1997 merc 25 lower unit info

I'll be dropping the lower unit on the old 2 stroke to remove the prop shaft, seals, etc. gonna do it myself......I think.
I'll either take the shaft somewhere to be straightened or get another one. If anyone knows a good link on YouTube or elsewhere to help out I'd appreciate it. Also, a marine salvage website or anywhere that I might could get some goods on the cheap. I appreciate it.

Straighten the shaft yourself, then disassemble. That way you ain't gotta worry about messing up a seal. This is one of the best shadetree redneck prop straightening processes I've seen yet. All ya need is a plank of wood, a floor jack and a machinists' travel indicator dial.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
