Every single Boykin that I have hunted with worked and hunted just as good as a lab...hell my buddy's Boykin was a 100 dollar newspaper dog and that damn thing hunted everything. we even turned him loose with the deer hounds on dog drives!!

Don't let these guys get you down, it's a good looking pup that I'm sure will fit your needs great.
If it's your first time training a dog use a set program(plenty of good ones out there) and enjoy! The fun is in working with and spending time with your dog. My dog has probably learned more from me just taking him out in the field than any formal training.
I trust kim because I know she trusts me...

Congrats on the pup, he's a fine looking dog and I hope you have many successful years in the field with him.
This deal with Kim, if some of the stuff posted on this thread is true I'd of had a hard time signing anything with any of those terms attached. I'd never buy a dog under those stated terms and not have 100% control of what I did with the dog or who I did it with after I bought it.

Holy fuck.
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.
well, someone mentioned a wood chipper.
