    Default New bow options

Decided I want a brand one always been a Mathews fan but I'll consider others. Smooth draw is at the very very top of my list given my elbow issues. I like the theory behind the no cam but worry I'm giving up to much speed.

Elite would be my choice. Next would be the halon. I don't own either. Shoot them all then decide.

If smoothness is the main factor it will be Elite followed by Hoyt (not closely followed) then a long way to the next manufacturer
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

Mathews halon would be my choice. A lot of people say it's the best bow of the year. I have shot it and that would be my choice. I never have liked elite and prime. Just personal preference. It's mostly about what feels best to you. They will all kill with a accurate shooter behind them that is confident.

If you like Mathews then I'd consider the Mathews Halon.

Go shoot a few. If a smooth draw is important, Elite, Prime, Obsession, and Mathews should all be on your short list.

I would try the elite impulse series. If that is not smooth enough then try the elite energy series. If that ain't smooth enough you should stick to the rifle haha the Mathews halon is a nice one as well if you like cams as big as your head. But fit/feel will trump everything. You will just have to shoot and see which fits/feels best.

Happy with the Halon so far.

Elite Hunter = discontinued in 2013....little heavy but best draw and wall of bow I have shot (20+)

Elite E32- faster and lighter than the hunter.....different draw feel than hunter
Elite E35- same as E32 with longer ata

Those are would be top 3 if shopping elite

Had Elite.....sold it....got a Halon.....and I DO NOT regret it. It is by far best shooting bow I have ever put my hands on.

If you get over to Macon give me a shout and you can shoot mine
When in doubt, shoot him again!

Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!
